1. General provisions
1.1. These table reservation terms apply to users who reserve a table through the meniu.lt portal.
1.2. meniu.lt provides the technical means to submit a reservation request, receive information about its status and, where applicable, pay a reservation advance.
1.3. The contractual relationship regarding the provision of restaurant services is established between the user and the specific restaurant.
1.4. Where an advance payment applies to a reservation, meniu.lt accepts the advance in the name and on behalf of the specific restaurant, acting as that restaurant’s representative. In such a case, meniu.lt does not act in the name or interests of the user.
1.5. The advance paid is deemed to be a payment to the specific restaurant for future restaurant services to the extent of the amount paid as an advance.
2. Table reservation process
2.1. Select a restaurant and, where this option is displayed, the restaurant hall or zone in which you wish to reserve a table.
2.2. Select the reservation date. If the desired date cannot be selected, this means that the restaurant does not accept reservations on that day or that all available places have already been booked.
2.3. Select the reservation time. If the label “Reservation unavailable” is displayed next to the desired time, a reservation cannot be made for that time. For additional options, you may contact the restaurant using the contact details provided in its profile.
2.4. Select the number of guests.
2.5. Enter your contact information.
2.6. You will be informed through the contact details you provide about reservation confirmation, changes or other important information relating to the reservation. You may also receive a reservation reminder.
2.7. If incorrect or incomplete contact details are provided, you may not receive important information relating to the reservation.
2.8. If the reservation has not been confirmed by SMS, email or another channel used by the restaurant, the restaurant is entitled not to assign you a table upon arrival.
2.9. A table reservation is normally held for 15 minutes from the reserved time, unless the restaurant clearly specifies otherwise in a particular case. If you are running late, please inform the restaurant.
2.10. If you have any additional requests, you may enter them in the designated reservation field. Such requests are treated as preferences, and the restaurant is entitled not to accommodate them where circumstances or availability do not permit.
3. Reservation confirmation and status
3.1. Submitting a reservation does not in itself mean that the reservation has been confirmed, unless clearly stated otherwise during the reservation process.
3.2. The restaurant independently decides whether to confirm, amend or cancel the reservation.
3.3. meniu.lt is not responsible for whether the restaurant confirms, amends or cancels the reservation, but transmits reservation information and status changes between the user and the restaurant.
4. Advance payment for a table reservation
4.1. A restaurant may require an advance payment when reserving a table at the selected restaurant.
4.2. The amount of the advance payment may vary depending on the restaurant’s terms, the number of guests, the date, the time or the specific offer.
4.3. Information about the applicable advance, its amount and the relevant reservation terms is provided to the user before payment is made.
4.4. The advance table reservation payment is credited towards the final amount payable at the restaurant. This means that the amount you will need to pay at the restaurant will be reduced by the advance paid at the time of reservation.
4.5. Where an advance applies to a reservation, meniu.lt accepts this payment in the name and on behalf of the specific restaurant. The advance paid is deemed to be a payment to the restaurant.
4.6. Where an event is taking place at the restaurant and this is clearly indicated in the reservation window, the reservation advance may be credited as a ticket fee or partial payment for the services specified in the description of the restaurant event.
5. Cancellation, no-show and refunds
5.1. If the reservation is cancelled by the restaurant, the user will receive a full refund of the advance paid.
5.2. If the user cancels the reservation, the advance paid is non-refundable, unless different terms were clearly specified before payment for the particular restaurant, reservation or offer, or the restaurant decides otherwise in the specific case.
5.3. If the user does not arrive at the reserved time for reasons not attributable to the restaurant or force majeure circumstances, the advance paid is treated as a contractual penalty in favour of the restaurant.
5.4. In the event of a no-show, the restaurant is entitled to retain the full amount of the advance paid, unless it decides at its discretion to refund all or part of the amount.
5.5. If, after payment, the restaurant changes the reservation time or terms, or cancels the reservation, the further administration of the reservation and the advance will be handled according to the specific circumstances and the restaurant’s decision, without prejudice to the user’s rights under applicable law.
5.6. Refunds are made using the same or another technically available refund method permitted by the payment solution used.
6. User confirmations
